Traditional Science and Botany
- Hazel belongs to the Betulaceae family. It is a forest shrub that flowers outdoors in early spring (March–April), while its fruits ripen in August–September. In central Armenia, common hazel species are widespread.
- Hazel does not grow taller than about 10–12 meters.
Characteristics
- Hazel leaves are small and very dense, which allows them to absorb large amounts of harmful substances and toxic gases.
- Hazelnuts have high nutritional value and are rich in vitamins and oils.
Uses
